ESR Technology Meeting Clients Needs for Innovation and Better Tribology solutions

IMG 2562

ESR Technology is gearing up for 2020 by strengthening and remodelling its operations. With more and more client enquiries for our independent and specialist services of engineering and safety & risk management, ESR has restructured its Warrington-based engineering tribology disciplines into a single Engineering Group.

Our clients want more innovation and more independent validation of designs and systems, performing under ever increasing extreme environments, but need to be greener and sustainable whilst meeting all the environmental, legislation and health and safety requirements.

Simon Lewis will lead the Engineering Group, that brings together our world-renowned tribology and materials based capabilities. As a multi-disciplinary capabilities team, we can better serve clients needs for more integrated research, design, development and testing services and collaborative partnering for innovative product development and better tribology solutions.

With Simon as the Head and Technical Lead, we have added and welcome Chris Greenhalgh to the new role of Operations Manager. Chris brings 25 years of experience of managing consultancy and service providers in the oil and gas, chemical, aerospace and general engineering industries. Chris has a record of improving business performance and operations management at the role of Operations Director and Managing Director levels with a focus on developing learning and best practices for engineering, QA and HSE. His strategic planning, operations management, commercial, financial and project management skills will support Simon and the Technical Teams deliver better value and increasing satisfaction to our loyal and new clients.

With an already strong order book for 2020 for both Engineering and Safety & Risk services, ESR is actively seeking expansion at Warrington, Milton (Oxford) and Aberdeen through senior engineering, technical and safety appointments.

Historically, the ESR culture is of home grown leaders, but as we expand our solutions and services to meet the client’s immediate needs, we are considering senior expertise recruitments for Engineering, NDT and Safety risk management.

In the New Year, we are launching our newly designed Graduate Programme and recruiting our 2020 Graduates Group. Our programme has been designed so that each one of our talented graduates can track their career development and gain experience in a range of technical and non-technical areas.
