There’s still time to attend ESTL’s Space Tribology Course (STC) in Munich this September!

  • Comprehensive overview of friction, lubrication and wear in spacecraft mechanisms
  • Highly respected two-day training course in the same week and venue as ESMATS 2019
  • 16th & 17th September 2019 at the Eurostars Grand Central Hotel, Munich

ESTL – The European Space Tribology Laboratory – will present a two-day version of its highly respected Space Tribology Course. This training course will be held on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th September 2019, the two days immediately before the 18th bi-annual European Space Mechanisms and Tribology Symposium. The training course will be held in the same venue, The Eurostars Grand Central Hotel, Munich, Germany.

The Space Tribology Course provides a comprehensive overview of the many issues relating to friction, lubrication and wear of spacecraft mechanisms and their components and draws from data generated from ESR Technology (ESTL) 47 years as Europe’s independent centre of excellence for space tribology.

We still have some places left on the course. To ensure your place on this popular course in Germany this September, please provide your details and complete a Full Registration at the ESMATS website here; http://www.esmats.eu/munich/home/register-and-pay-stc/

The fee to attend this course is €950 plus VAT (German rate, currently 19%). Coffee breaks and a light lunch will be provided but delegates will need to organise their own travel and accommodation.

Please note that the Space Tribology Course (STC) is not part of ESMATS 2019 or ESA’s Advanced Mechanism Design Course (AMDC), and delegates wishing to attend STC must register for the course, accept the appropriate terms on data protection according to the course provider ESR Technology (ESTL) and pay the additional fee (plus VAT).
