ESR Acquired by Hyder Consulting

ESR Technology is pleased to announce that it has been acquired by Hyder Consulting, a leading multi-national engineering design and advisory consultancy.

Hyder is one of the world’s longest established engineering consultancies, with a heritage of over 150 years. It operates from offices in Europe, the Middle East, Germany, Australia and East Asia.

Hyder offers a full range of advisory and design services that deliver market leading infrastructure and property solutions. Hyder has designed some of the world’s most instantly recognisable landmarks including London’s Tower Bridge, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Burj Khalifa - the world’s tallest building.

This acquisition strengthens ESR Technology’s established position in the oil and gas and aviation sectors. It also provides ESR Technology clients with access to a broad range of utilities, transportation, property and environmental capabilities.

As a part of Hyder Consulting, ESR Technology will continue to operate from offices in Warrington, Abingdon and Aberdeen in the UK. ESR Technology staff in the Middle East will join the Hyder team in their Abu Dhabi office, where Hyder has a long and established presence. ESR Technology’s Centres of Excellence, HOIS, Pump Centre, National Centre for Tribology (NCT), National Non-destructive Testing Centre (NNDTC) and European Space Tribology Laboratory (ESTL) will continue to operate as normal.
