Only one month to go to ESTL’s Space Tribology Training Course

Every two years ESTL (the European Space Tribology Laboratory) presents its highly respected and informative Space Tribology Training Course to delegates from around the world. For 2017, a new one-day version of this course will be held on Monday 18th September 2017 at the de Havilland campus of the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield, UK.

The Space Tribology Course provides a comprehensive overview of the many issues relating to friction, lubrication and wear of spacecraft mechanisms and their components and draws from data generated from ESTL’s 45 years as Europe’s independent centre of excellence for space tribology.

Delegates who attend this years’ course can also choose to also attend the European Space Agency’s Advanced Mechanisms Design course on Tuesday 19th September 2017 and/or the 17th European Space Mechanisms and Tribology Symposium (ESMATS) hosted by Airbus Defence & Space on Wednesday 20th to Friday 22nd September 2017. All three events are separately organised but will be held in the same venue.

More information about the course and registration details can be found at the ESMATS web site Places are filling up fast, so if you want to attend, book your place now!
