ESR Technology’s Quantified Risk Assessment training programme for KISA

ESR Technology is pleased to announce the successful completion of a three-week Quantified Risk Assessment (QRA) training programme for two senior South Korean Industrial Safety Association (KISA) engineers, Son Sangtae and Kim Namsuk.

The training was conducted at our Warrington UK headquarters and included ESR’s long established Major Hazards Training Course, which is routinely delivered to internal and external safety engineers, together with practical experience of our extensive QRA tools and software products including RIFLE, RISK6 and DRIFT.

The training programme builds on the collaboration between KISA, the most comprehensive safety consulting agency in South Korea, and ESR Technology, one of the world’s leading safety and risk management consultancies, to provide safety support to the South Korean major hazards industries. Following the training in the UK, ESR Technology’s Major Hazards Training Course will be rolled out in South Korea to help raise awareness of the new requirement for all major hazard sites in Korea to undertake QRA.
