Intelligent Tribology Knowledge Transferred in Warsaw
ESTL presented its world-renowned Space Tribology training course in Warsaw last week and it was a huge success. A record 69 delegates attended the two-day course, who were from five countries, (Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Romania and Slovakia), representing 30 different organisations. A representative from The European Space Agency, who provided the funding for the course, also attended.

Lectures included fundamentals of tribology, lubrication of spacecraft components (fluids and solids), tribo-component design and performance, materials for tribo-contacts, and lessons learnt.
Here’s some genuine feedback from some of the many course participants;
- “Thank you for such an interesting course… I learned many new things”
- “Best course I have attended”
- “I cannot imagine how you could have done better”
- “Everything was perfect”
- “Huge amount of unique knowledge presented in an easily understandable way”
- “A lot of interesting information, even for people who are dealing with tribology for years”
ESTL’s next course will be held in Munich on 16th and 17th September 2019, in conjunction with the European Space Mechanisms and Tribology Symposium (ESMATS) www.esmats.eu.
