ESR Technology are delighted to announce the launch of DELOS 2, the latest version of our Fire and Gas Mapping solution that puts the engineer in control. With DELOS, engineers can reduce the time spent on locating fire and gas detectors, resulting in significant cost savings while still achieving high safety standards.

ESR have invested heavily in the upgrade of our existing suite of fire and gas mapping tools and have now made DELOS available for license. DELOS, and the methodologies of which it has been built upon, has been proven in use in the process safety and hazardous industries, including on multiple major projects in both the UK and overseas.

A Fire and Gas Mapping study is now a pre-requisite on many projects worldwide and DELOS enables to perform fire and gas mapping studies in accordance to the methodologies. It will allow users to conduct their own Fire and Gas Mapping studies with expert support from ESR Technology. In the current climate of low oil price and economic uncertainty, DELOS presents a cost-effective method of completing F&G Mapping studies in-house to ensure a safe and compliant fire and gas detection design.

DELOS operates in full 3D, is capable of loading complex CAD models and has in-built detection logic that is crucial in determining the most appropriate detector layout. Results can be presented in 2D or 3D formats and high-quality results can be easily exported for inclusion in reports. Key features of the software include:
