Vivek Maripudi is a mechanical engineer with many years of experience in the Automotive, Transportation, Power Energy and Consumer Goods.
He started his career in Automotive Safety Restraints system simulations, performance evaluation, and systems integration. He has many technical publications and 6 patents on occupant safety and restraint mechanisms.
Vivek’s career has developed from Engineer to Principal and then increasing technical and team management responsibilities for delivering projects. At Takata, he led the company’s strategic outsourcing plans with responsibility to establish Takata engineering groups ‘global engineering centre’.
At ESR, Vivek works with Raghbir to continuously review and update the company’s strategy for growth of its current Non Destructive Testing (NDT), National Centre of Tribology (NCT), Space Mechanism, and Safety Risk management solutions and services and growth through development of international client base and industry sector relationships.
Currently, he has also taken the leadership role of Business Director for NDT and Inspection Consultancy Services, with P & L responsibility for the Group and the Teams development aligned to the needs of the clients and the company’s overall international growth strategy, through strategic projects.
Current strategic projects led by Vivek, focus on combining ESR’s core expertise in NDT, Materials, Asset Integrity and Safety Risk Management and currently include CCUS for steel and other high carbon emitter industries, where ESR Technology is uniquely positioned to support clients expertise needs as independent specialist for engineering and safety risk management consultancy.
