Your future, with us
Our mission? To provide the data, lubricants and support to make your future products, systems and missions successful – wherever in the solar system you plan to send them…
We’ll work with you to understand your tribological challenges, evaluate heritage or develop and prove new solutions using our world-class facilities. We can test your hardware in thermal vacuum from cryo to the elevated temperatures required of science missions, develop bespoke test methods, or provide lubricant products and services with first class support and technical expertise – all delivered under an EN9100:2018(AS9100) accredited quality management system.
Our experience
We’ve supported most European Space Agency missions, and commercial programmes of all kinds worldwide – around 500 successful missions and counting…
Our heritage encompasses support for wheels, solar array drives, antenna deployment & positioning systems, hold-down systems, deployables, radiometers, optical scanning, pointing & positioning systems, instruments, landers, robotics, launchers, turbopumps, thruster pointing, deployable booms, hinges, actuators and gearboxes of many kinds… and others.
Who we work with
We partner with space mechanism development teams, component and equipment suppliers from the smallest to the largest, including commercial entities, ESA and other agencies. Together, we address tribological challenges in the vacuum of space.
We work with engineers and scientists who are seeking to optimise performance and maximise the life of their mechanical systems. People who want to deliver new and innovative technologies and are driven to achieve technical excellence through the implementation of the ideal solution.
We also support the work of cutting-edge and high-end engineering all over the planet, where tribology and precision hardware play a major role in the de-risking and performance of highly specialised, technical equipment.
