Now working as a part-time consultant, Steve has an extensive experience of digital NDT dating back to the 1980s.
Steve’s main technical fields of expertise include digital radiography, computed tomography and advanced ultrasonics. Steve is currently the main UK technical expert on the ISO Standards radiography committees.
Previously, Steve was the HOIS programme manager for almost 20 years and has given papers at numerous national and international conferences, winning the BINDT award for best conference paper three times.
Steve was also awarded, by BINDT, the Anne Birt award to recognise significant contributions to technology innovation, technology transfer or technology strategy in the field of NDT over a period of at least 5-10 years.
