ESR Technology Generates Over 10.5 MWh of Clean Energy in September

September may have marked the start of autumn, but our solar panels were still hard at work. Over the month, ESR Technology’s solar PV system generated an impressive 10,551 kWh of renewable electricity, helping to power our Warrington office with clean, locally generated energy.

What’s particularly encouraging is that 96% of the electricity generated was used directly on-site, meaning the vast majority of the energy produced went straight into supporting our daily operations. Only a small proportion was exported back to the grid.

The energy generated throughout September contributed to reducing our reliance on imported electricity while supporting our ongoing commitment to sustainability and responsible energy use.

Every unit of renewable energy produced represents a step towards lowering our environmental impact, and September’s results show how renewable technologies can make a meaningful contribution to everyday business operations.

We’re delighted to see the system continuing to perform so well and look forward to sharing future updates as we continue our sustainability journey.

ESTL’s Contribution to the ESA JUICE Mission

ESA’s Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (Juice) will make detailed observations of Jupiter and three of its largest icy moons: Ganymede, Callisto and Europa. The mission will investigate these moons as planetary bodies and potential environments capable of supporting life, while also providing new insights into Jupiter’s complex atmosphere, magnetosphere and surrounding system.
