ESR Technology’s Safety and Risk Management team is preparing for the upcoming IChemE Hazards 36 Conference at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester.
We’re pleased to be returning as a Silver Sponsor for another year, as well as contributing to the conference programme.
Safety and Risk Business Director, Luke Butcher, will present the paper ‘From ‘Flat World’ to Real World: Incorporating Terrain into Buncefield Scenario Modelling’.
The paper presents an enhanced FABIG TN12 approach using LIDAR terrain data to more accurately visualise and assess vapour cloud behaviour across real-world tank storage sites, improving risk assessment beyond the traditional ‘flat world’ assumption.
📅 Wednesday 18 November
🕦 11:30–13:00, parallel session
If you’re attending Hazards 36, come and meet the team at our stand. We’re looking forward to connecting with colleagues from across the process safety industry and discussing the latest challenges, developments and ideas.
