ESR Technology had the exciting opportunity to attend this year’s TEDxWarrington event at Warrington Youth Zone, proudly participating as one of its official sponsors. The event brought together a diverse community of innovators, thinkers, and local leaders. We were delighted to have four representatives from across our business units in attendance, each there to absorb fresh ideas, connect with fellow attendees, speakers and other sponsors, as well as reinforce our commitment to innovation, curiosity, and continuous learning.
What is TEDxWarrington?
TEDxWarrington is an independently organised TED event designed to bring people together to share ideas, spark conversation, and inspire positive change in the local community. The event featured thought-provoking speakers from across business, science, technology, education, and the arts, all centred around the TED mission of “Ideas Change Everything”. Being part of TEDx gives Warrington a platform to celebrate innovation, encourage learning, and showcase forward-thinking approaches on a global stage.
Why was it important to ESR Technology?

As a business built on technical expertise, problem-solving, and continuous learning, we saw TEDxWarrington as a perfect fit for our mission and culture.
Sponsoring an event like TEDx helps us to promote STEM thinking and curiosity within the community and encourage new perspectives that drive safer, smarter engineering. Thoughts from the event
TEDxWarrington 2025 consisted of 17 incredible speakers who each offered their own distinctive and unique interpretation of this year’s theme of ‘Identity and Purpose’. Looking at the event from a STEM perspective, the final speaker of the evening, Carrie Ann Booth, a multi-award-winning Science Edu-trainer, truly inspired our team as she shared her personal journey of discovering her identity and sense of belonging within the world of science. Her reflections on curiosity as the spark that set her on her path, and her challenge to the audience to consider their own “catalyst,” resonated deeply with us. She also spoke passionately about encouraging young people to explore STEM and unlocking their potential, something that closely aligns with our values and commitments here at ESR Technology.
