HOIS was invited to present work on the development of guidance for ultrasonic inspection for NII at elevated temperatures to the Brazilian Society for Non-destructive Testing and Inspection (ABENDI) at their annual conference CONAENDI-2023, 20-22 September, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The presentation highlighted recommendations for precision corrosion mapping measurements for in-service inspection of components at up to 250°C. Thereby extending the benefits of the non-intrusive inspection process, including avoiding or deferring internal visual inspection, to a wider range of vessels.
