Recorded around 1990, the video outlines the TOFD method, its principles, and one of the first trials in simulated subsea tank and field test conditions. The application of cutting edge NDT to in-service inspection challenges featured in this video brilliantly shows the HOIS legacy that we proudly continue and aim to spread to a wider audience. The video has also given a hint to the legacy HOIS acronym since we are no longer based in Harwell! This clip was recently re-discovered thanks to Alex McClay.
