We’re pleased to be, yet again, sponsoring and exhibiting at the IChemE Hazards 36 Conference which is taking place in Manchester from 17–19 November.
Hazards continues to be one of the leading events for the process safety community, bringing together industry, regulators and technical specialists to share knowledge and good practices for effective process safety management.
This year’s themes focus on identifying, embedding and sustaining good practice, recognising the critical role of executive leadership, and addressing the evolving hazards associated with new technologies and applications – topics that sit at the heart of the work we do every day.
We are also excited to share that our Safety and Risk Management Business Director, Luke Butcher, will be presenting a technical paper, ‘From ‘flat world’ to real world: incorporating terrain into Buncefield scenario modelling’ at this year’s event. The paper demonstrates how improved modelling techniques can alter and enhance our understanding of major accidents, leading to better risk management.
ESR Technology continues to support Hazards every year as the conference aligns closely with our desire to help organisations through the challenges of process safety management. It provides excellent opportunities to network with industry leaders, regulators, and operators and collaborate and exchange knowledge with our peers.
If you are attending this year’s Hazards 36 Conference, make sure to visit our team who will be on hand to discuss all things process safety and how we can support your organisation.
